2024 Employee Reimbursement Account and Health Savings Account Administrative Fees

Please see the following employer administrative fees for the 2024 plan year:

The Employee Reimbursement Accounts (ERA) employer administrative fee is $0.34 per health insurance contract per month for 2024. This is an increase of $0.34 from 2023, when there was no administrative fee. The increase to the ERA fee is related to increases in administrative costs as well as decreases in forfeitures, which offset those expenses.

The Health Savings Account (HSA) employer administrative fee is $0.34 per health insurance contract per month for 2024. This is an increase of $0.09 from 2023. The HSA fee increase is due to a depletion of the HSA reserve funds, which are used to minimize fee increases.
