My Insurance Benefits will go live in July 2025 and allow members to interact with their insurance benefits online through secure, easy-to-use 24/7 access.
While there are many new features and capabilities that this system will offer when it goes live, we have identified one feature that will not be available for local employers at that time. Specifically, the premium rate display, with a contribution breakout showing the member and employer shares, will not be visible to your employees. This is a change from previous communications regarding premium detail.
Instead, your employees will see the total premium for each benefit. Just as they do today, you, as the employer, will be responsible for communicating to your employees the details regarding the portion of the premium the employer will pay vs. the portion that the employee will be responsible for paying.
The employee view of their insurance premiums in My Insurance Benefits will be similar to the following image that shows the employer cost for insurance premiums displaying as $0.00. Note: the premiums displayed are for illustration only.
My Insurance Benefits will also display a message to your employees that they will need to confirm their premium rates with their employer.
